कार्यक्रमाचे अध्यक्ष महाविद्यालयाचे प्राचार्य डॉ. किशोर वळसे तर व्यासपीठावर रा.से. यो. क्षेत्रीय समन्वयक प्रा. डॉ. विनोद बन्सीले , श्री. विष्णू मुंढे, संस्थेच्या सचिव उषाताई मुंढे, जिल्हा परिषद शाळा शिक्षिका सौ. वंदना कुलकर्णी, श्री. गजानन विश्वनाथ लंबे इत्यादी मान्यवर होते. सर्वांच्या हस्ते राष्ट्रसंत भगवान बाबा व स्वच्छतेचे महामेरू संत गाडगेबाबा यांच्या प्रतिमेचे पूजन करून दीप प्रज्वलन व पुष्पहार अर्पण करण्यात आला.
शिबिराच्या उदघाटक कार्यक्रमाचे प्रमुख मार्गदर्शक म्हणून क्षेत्रिय समन्वय रासेयो, प्रा. डॉ. विनोद बन्सीले, मार्गदर्शकाच्या भूमिकेतून बोलताना त्यांनी सांगितले की, युवकांच्या व्यक्तिमत्व विकासात राष्ट्रीय सेवा योजना कशी उपयोगी पडते हे उदाहरणासहित पटवून दिले व विद्यार्थ्यांनी शिबिरातून स्वयंशिस्तीचे व श्रमदानाचे महत्त्व समजून घेतले पाहिजे. युवकांमध्ये नेतृत्व गुणांबरोबर विविध कौशल्यांचा विकास राष्ट्रीय सेवा योजनेच्या निवासी शिबिरातून होतो, असे सांगितले. कार्यक्रमाची सुरुवात कु. श्वेता डोईफोडे, कु. कोमल राठोड आणि आरती जाधव यांच्या स्वागत गीताने करण्यात आली. कार्यक्रम अधिकारी रासेयो प्रा. सत्यनारायण एन. नागरे, यांनी प्रास्ताविक भाषणातून सात दिवसात होणाऱ्या कार्यक्रमाची रूपरेषा विशद केली. तर व्यासपीठावरून अध्यक्ष भाषणातून बोलताना महाविद्यालयाचे प्राचार्य, डॉ. किशोर वळसे सर यांनी राष्ट्रीय सेवा योजना ही एक श्रमदानाची चळवळ आहे, यातून समाजाचा विकास होतो. याप्रसंगी रा.से.यो. चे स्वंयसेवक व स्वयंसेविका, महाविद्यालयाचे सर्व प्राध्यापक व प्राध्यापकेत्तर कर्मचारी व गावकरी मंडळी मोठ्या संख्येने उपस्थित होते. या कार्यक्रमाचे सूत्रसंचालन रासेयो महिला कार्यक्रम अधिकारी प्रा डॉ प्रिया बोचे यांनी केले तर आभार प्रा. डॉ. गणेश दराडे यांनी मानले.
